3 CARC centers open
Overwhelming community response! We are having the communities of these IDP camps respond in large numbers to every program offered in the 3 CARC centers. It is a case of having the right solution at the right time, now we are needing partners to come along on this journey.

Bio sand Waterfilter training
2009 saw the facilitation of 3 BSF conferences with over 600 BSF waterfilters produced by the Connect Africa team at the 4 centers in Uganda. Effective community training has led to a great demand for these locally produced waterfilters. With the IDP camps being disbanded, the household BSF waterfilters are the best solution for treating groundwater sources.
