Opit CARC
The first Connect Africa Resource Center (CARC) opened in the fall of 2007 in the Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp of Opit. Located about a 1 hour drive south of Gulu town, and centrally located on the crossroads of 5 roads, Opit CARC has a quarter million people living in the footprint of a half days bicycle ride of 30 KM. The Bio Sand water Filter (BSF) factory provides local employment and has produced over 400 filters, the Rocket Stove factory trains and produced the Connect Africa Rocketstove. The CARC has hosted over 15 conferences and teams from all over the world and is proving to be a major asset in aiding the post conflict resettlement effort as the IDP camps disband.

Connect Africa HUB
The Connect Africa Hub is the central location of the NGO located 12 KM north of Kampala only 500 meters off the main Bombo highway. A 20 acre complex consisting of a conference center and dorms, housing for the staff, demonstration farm, and secure vehicle parking, the Hub land is located on the side of a large hill with amazing views and has a stream flowing thru it. Several international teams have been based out of the Hub and hosted conferences before heading north to the CARC centers. Power, internet, and indoor bathroom facilities make this center a great get-away from the chaos and pollution of Kampala

Kigumba CARC
Located on Gulu Highway 3KM south of Kigumba, the CARC center opened in 2008 has been a real asset to the region, facilitating Churches and pastors in a vibrant relational network to Impact their communities. The BSF factory is the central media processing facility for the other factories and has produced over 300 BSF filters. The Conference center has hosted international teams and continues to meet the needs of the community. Rainwater harvesting tanks were installed in 2009 and the center facilitated the building of RHT tanks in the community.

Atiak CARC
Opened in the Summer of 2009, the Atiak CARC is producing BSF filters and hosting conferences and impacting the communities on the Sudan Border region of Northern Uganda. Located on the highway on the south side of Atiak, 2 hours North of Gulu town, and 12 KM south of the Sudan border at the intersection of 5 road, this CARC received two 15,000 liter Rainwater Harvesting Tanks (RHT) in 2009 and facilitated the placement of 2 tanks at local community centers. Indoor bathroom facilities, and 3 comfortably equipped rooms have hosted international teams and the conference room seats 150.
