Welcome to the Hub 

 
Located 12 KM North of Kampala on the main highway to the North, the HUB is a 20 acre Campus that houses the Connect Africa NGO offices, 120 person conference center, staff housing and demonstration farm.

Rainwater Harvesting Tank (RHT) training 

 
The Connect Africa teambeing trained to build Rainwater Harvesting Tanks (RHT) in partnership with the Good Earth Trust, UK. and Makarerere University. Tank sizes of 15,000 Liter and 7,000 Liter were produced at the Hub, with 11 RHT tanks produced in the North of Uganda thru the Calgary Rotary Partnership Grant.

ISSB Tanks 

 
The 15,000 Liter tank is built using Interlocking Stabilized Soil Blocks (ISSB) and cost about $1200 USD

It takes a committed team of Office staff, CARC center leaders, Hub Agriculture team, Cooks, and Appropriate Technology facilitators to pull this Connect Africa Vision together. Made up mainly of volunteers and passionate to see Uganda and East Africa transfor by relational connections and practical solutions.
