Connect Africa and Rotary Club Muyenga partnered together with the Rotary club of Downtown Calgary Signature Legacy Water Project to host a 5 day training to teach the technology of producing Bio sand Water Filters. The Center for Water and Sanitation Technologies (CAWST) based in Calgary Alberta, Canada sent an instructor, Tal Woolsey to teach a hands on course that enables students to get a working knowledge of Biosand filters and the hands on production of several filters. Students came from all over Uganda and several NGOs sent teams for training.
